The Engineering offices of Dr. Herbert Markert plan and build medium to large (190-1.500 kWel) agricultural Biogas plants with a high usage of animal waste and grain slurry primarily for use in farming, hence allowing the farmer to integrate the use of regional products at optimal ecological value. These Biogas plants are built to the individuals needs, limits, and production allowing a higly economical value in accordance to the specific investment costs. We use only the highest quality in components on the market today. Regardless of the companies involved,the firm is mainly interested in the best productivity and remain neutral in its handling of component construction, with the farmers best interest at heart.

The Biogas plants are generally flow-through systems which work alongside a combination of row-parallel switch and round-form digesters (at least 2) and a post-fermentation container. To insure a stable biological process the digester capacity is limited to 2.5 kg oTS/m³.d insursion of manure and slurry which is in turn hydraulically processed and gestated for a period of at least 60 days. Plants that run on pure slurry are also built.

Along with planning and building consulting, the preparation of the documents in accordance to BimSchG permits, planning of electrical connectivity, slurry production, the connection of the gas burners,heaters,microturbines and control is all a part of the service in relation to the Engineering firm of Dr. Markert.
